Nautilus Scuba Club

Nautilus Scuba Club CairnsThe Club is a collective of people interested (obsessed) in Scuba Diving. Most of the members live in the Cairns area but the club does have members in some far flung places. The purpose of the club is to enable people with a common interest in diving to enjoy and sport together. Along the way we meet new people, share experiences, learn more and save some money. The club is a non-profit organisation, it is not related to any business or dive shop. Funds generated by the club are used in the operation of the club, to subsidise social events and to support identified volunteer groups.

Meetings are held at the Marine Radio Club, 52 Macnamara St Cairns on the last Wednesday of the month (7:30 p.m. start). The club has a bar and members are able to enjoy a quiet drink while discussing past and future dive expeditions. We have a guest speaker at each meeting to keep us informed and interested.

Dives are generally monthly day trips to the reef with occasional weekend trips to the Yongala, along the Ribbon Reefs or something a little different such as a picnic and dive in Lake Eacham. Keep up with our club dives via this website.

The committee are volunteers that have busy lives just like you. If you are able to provide assistance or have some ideas or skills that could be of benefit to the club, please let the committee know.
