We are organising an overseas dive trip to the Solomon Islands with the MV TAKA with SIDE Solomons Diving in November 2017.
For the Cairns locals, MV TAKA is a well known liveaboard ship that for many years was operated by the Deep Sea Divers Den. It has been sold to the Solomons and the new owners are willing to give us a very good deal.

Dates are:  21 – 29 November 2017.
Travelling with Air Niugini via Port Moresby.
Number of spaces – We have chartered the whole boat with a capped capacity of 24 divers.  This means that we can put in our own request re the itinerary!

A former dive instructor of the TAKA in the Solomons will be at our January club meeting [Wed 25th of January 2017].  Booking for the trip will be open from February 2017.  Our dive coordinator will send out all information per email.

See for more information about possible dive itineries –   Solomons Diving
