Tubbataha Reef in the Philippines is known to be one of the top 10 dive sites in the world with its clear vis, pristine corals, sheer walls/drop offs into the abyss and the abundance of marine life, including large pelagics.
So we had very high hopes for this trip, especially as the original trip in 2020 had to be cancelled due to COVID and as we had to wait for a very long time indeed since we had first booked this trip in 2018! This liveaboard trip certainly didn’t disappoint, with lots of amazing encounters with marine life, including a 25-minute close encounter with a school of hammerheads!
