Dive Course Subsidy Application

The Nautilus Scuba Club is dedicated to improving the skill level and safety of our members and in support of this, and to encourage members to further their dive education we are making an offer to reimburse $100 of an Advanced Open Water Diver or Rescue Diver course for members.

Please complete the form below to apply for one of the places. We will offer 10 places and applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

We will notify you within a day or two if you have secured a place. After that you will have four weeks to book and six months to complete the chosen course.

    • I will use a club sponsor to take the course
    • I will book the course and provide some evidence of booking within 4 weeks of application approval
    • I will complete the course I have selected within 6 months of approval
    • I am a current financial member and I will be a financial member at the time of completing my course
    • The club will reimburse you $100 on evidence of completion of the course and receipt for payment for the course.
    • I am happy to talk about my experience on the course at a club meeting
    • I meet the prerequisites of course I have selected

    On course prerequisites, in general you will just need to be over 12 years old and have completed the previous course (ie Open Water to take Advanced Open water or Advanced Open water to take Rescue Diver) but check the course provider or certifying agency for details. You can apply without holding the first aid and cpr course required for rescue diver, these are often optional addons to the course.
