We’re going to Bali! From August 16th-26th 2024, 10 members (NOW ONLY 1 SPOT AVAILABLE) of our club will be hitting all the best Bali has to offer. Menjangan Island, Tulamben, Amed, Nusa Penida, and MORE! 11 days, 8 dive days, up to 23 dives; with the option of adding on a Balinese cooking class, ATV tour, white water rafting, or volcano trekking on our last day.
Not only is Bali a short 5 hour flight away from Cairns, it is also renowned for its excellent diving opportunities. The Island boasts rich marine ecosystems teeming with vibrant coral reefs, diverse marine life, and captivating underwater landscapes. Highlights of this trip will include the chance to encounter Mola Mola (and maybe a manta or two, fingers crossed) and the USAT Liberty Shipwreck in Tulamben, which offers a unique and eerie underwater exploration experience – conveniently located right off shore. With its warm waters, incredible biodiversity, and thrilling dive sites, Bali consistently ranks among the world’s top diving destinations.
Accommodation:
As this is a dive safari, we will be travelling across the island to visit different locations. We will stay in Kuta on the night of arrival into Bali, before an early morning transfer to Menjangan for three nights accommodation. We will then transfer to the Tulamben for three nights and finally to Candidasa for the last three nights. All rooms are 4/5 star hotels with air-conditioning.
All accommodation is twin share or double rooms. A single supplement of 425USD applies for anyone wishing to book their own room for the duration of the trip.
Transfers:
All transfers are done in Isuzu Elf minibuses custom designed for maximum leg room, each minibus carries a maximum of 6 divers plus staff at a time to ensure comfort of all guests. Airport transfers on arrival and departure as well as all internal transfers are included in the price.
Boats:
On boat dive days, we will be on Bali’s best custom-made dive boats. The three boats all have on-board toilets, sun decks, tea/coffee facilities, all life saving equipment, O2 kits, non-slip floors, and ample storage space.
Please note, this trip does have a decent amount of shore diving.
