Embarking on a 7-night adventure to the untouched Coral Sea, where you will dive some of the most pristine and rarely visited dive sites. The Spirit of Freedom first embarked on this voyage in 2023 and due to the positive feedback from the passengers and crew, programmed it again in 2024 and 2025.
Travel over 600km East to explore Lihou Reef, known for vibrant pelagics and crystal-clear waters. Visit the stunning Flinders Reef and Herald Cays, famous for dramatic walls and swim-throughs. Magdelaine Cay is a rare, untouched site home to rich marine ecosystems. Finally, dive Holmes Reef—famed for its healthy coral gardens, abundant fish life, and dramatic underwater topography.
Almost anywhere you dive, you’ll be among the first to have been there.
- DAY 1: Boarding begins @ 3pm, for a 4:00pm departure.
- DAY 2: Diving Flinders Reef, Coral Sea. Opportunity to do up to 4 dives then overnight travel to Magdelaine Cays.
- DAY 3: Diving Magdelaine Cays, Coral Sea. Opportunity to do 5 dives including 1 night dive, followed by overnight travel to Lihou Reef.
- DAY 4: Diving Lihou Reef. Opportunity to do 5 dives including 1 night dive. Remain anchored at Lihou Reef overnight.
- DAY 5: Diving Lihou Reef. Opportunity to do 4 dives, followed by overnight travel to Herald Cays.
- DAY 6: Diving Herald Cays. Opportunity to do 5 dives including 1 night dive, followed by overnight travel to Holmes Reef.
- DAY 7: Diving Holmes Reef. Opportunity to do 4 dives, followed by overnight travel to Cairns.
- DAY 8: Arrive Cairns early morning. Breakfast on board and disembark by 7:30am.
