Nautilus Club Meeting on Zoom
We will be holding our next club meeting on a Thursday this month as our usual day fell on Australia Day and we wanted people to turn up! Given the rise in local covid transmission, current rules for events and after hearing from people people trying to avoid unnecessary contacts so they remain able to work we have decided to hold this meeting on zoom.
The meeting will be on Thursday the 27th of January at 7:00pm on Zoom. We will have updates on the club and will take the opportunity to get a guest speaker for further afield.
Join us with this Zoom link on the night:

Our guest speaker is Don Silcock who will provide an introduction to diving South Australia; Why it is good and the key things you need to know about the “big 3 of SA” – great whites, the jetties with their populations of leafy seadragons and the incredible Whyalla aggregation.
Don is Scuba Diver’s Senior Travel Editor, the Asia correspondent for X-Ray magazine and contributes regularly to both Dive Photo Guide and Wetpixel. Normally based in Bali, Don has been hunkered down in Sydney since he learned how to spell “pandemic”…
Don has been diving South Australia since 2003, when he did his first great white shark trip, and he believes the state offers some of the most interesting diving in Australia. Next month will be his 12th great white trip, plus he has done six trips over the last 10 years for the annual aggregation of giant cuttlefish at Whyalla and dived the wonderful jetties at Edithburgh and Rapid Bay numerous times.
You can see Don’s work, articles, images and location guides on his website www.indopacificimages.com
