Club Meeting
31 March 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
This month’s guest speaker is Russell Kelley giving his talk “Designing easy-to-use tools for building ocean literacy: the Coral Finder and the Reef Finder.”
Russell is of course behind the popular Reef Finder and Coral Finder identification field guides, you will probably seen one of them before in your travels
This club meeting will have additional COVID requirements.
You will need to wear a face mask to attend the meeting. If you have your own please bring it but if you don’t we will be handing out disposable masks on entry. If you don’t want to wear a mask and don’t have a recognised exemption please consider skipping this meeting.
Unfortunately we will also need to sit down for consumption of food or drink again. Naturally you are allowed to take off your mask while seated with food and drinks. These are the same rules cafes and restaurants will need to follow from this evening. In order to make that work we will bring the food service area back inside for this meeting.
- DO NOT attend the meeting if you have been in the greater Brisbane region since the 20th of march, are are unwell, have any possible symptoms of COVID-19, suspect you may have been infected with COVID-19, have had close contact with a person diagnosed with COVID-19, or been advised by health authorities to self-isolate
- Sit down to eat or drink
- Wear a face mask during the meeting, unless seated to eat or drink
- Sign in to the COVID register and use hand sanitiser on entry
- Follow 1.5m social distancing during the meeting and while queuing, following markings where provided
Join us for our March club meeting. Guests are welcome.
